    • [All] Korean Underground Rap Distribution

    If an underground rap artist from the west wanted to look for distribution of music in Korea, where should he look?  Does HipHopPlaya do distribution?  Does Ignito's vitality music have a website? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

      2. Thanks guys. I wish I had music to try and distribute in Korea, but I'm not asking for myself. Producer, rapper, and brother of Ill Bill, Necro is looking for distribution in other countries. Since his type of hip hop is extremely hardcore, it's hard for him to get distribution in many places. So I'm asking for him.

It's good to hear that I may be able to hear fresh music from a new artist :) To answer your question, HiphopPlaya does often function as a medium for distribution, although I do have to admit that they have done so only for Korean music until now. But it wouldn't hurt to give a shot... according to HHP, you can contact "yk@hiphopplaya.com" for any questions regarding album distribution; it says that he is the manager of the marketing team.
