전통의 흑인음악 시상식인 '2013 소울 트레인 어워드(2013 Soul Train Awards)'가 11월 8일 금요일(미국 시각) 라스 베이거스에서 열렸다.

'소울 트레인 어워드'는 세계에서 유일하게 힙합, 알앤비/소울, 재즈, 가스펠에 이르는 흑인음악을 총망라하여 시상하는 흑인음악 시상식. 이날 시상과 함께 제니퍼 허드슨(Jennifer Hudson), 샤카 칸(Chaka Khan), 티아이(T.I.), 워렌 쥐(Warren G), 덕 이 프레쉬(Doug E. Fresh), 슬릭 릭(Slick Rick), 빅 대디 케인(Big Daddy Kane) 등의 퍼포먼스도 있었다.

한편, 모든 수상자 리스트는 현지 시각으로 오는 12월 1일 오후 8시, BET와 Centric TV를 통해 방영되는 시상식을 통해 알 수 있다.
